In 2024...

The Northville Robostangs partnered with Special Olympics Michigan and FRC 503, to brainstorm, develop, and execute a Unified Robotics program and competition in Michigan. Unified Robotics brings together students with intellectual disabilities (athletes) and FRC students (peers) in teams of 4-5. The students work together to develop their own EV3 robots and code over a span of eight weeks. The Robostangs have ran and hosted the Unified Robotics competition for the past 3 years. Our program has grown to include over 8 teams and we hope to continue to expand Unified Robotics in order to continue giving opportunities to those who might not have had them otherwise.
